We don't choose the ad placements, so I'm not sure exactly what this comment is referring to. Ads are placed by Google's advertising system and they are different for every viewer. We have no control over the ads that get placed. Usually ads are targeted towards specific demographics by whoever placed the ad. Every person who came here to watch this video likely saw a different ad.

We love to love the sound of the 34" Chau!

I'm pretty sure we're using a custom Gibraltar Stand, adapted from the standard Gibraltar Gong Stand for 28"-40" Gongs, using additional Gibraltar parts and pieces we sell. Those stands have a ton of adaptability.

This gong isn't tuned, so I'm not sure what the frequency is off the top of my head, and it's likely this specific gong has sold since then, so we can't test it. You may be able to download a tuner app on your phone and hold it up to the speaker to see what the fundamental tone is. Though, keep in mind, it may register a range of frequencies / tones depending on the interplay of different harmonics and overtones.

I really like our Mother Tesla Gongs. They're bronze, highly-durable, they hold up to weather. The main issue, I think, would be size and weight limitations. Gongs below 26" diameter (22 lbs) tend to lose some complexity. If you want an epic sound, I'd probably recommend something over 32" diameter (34 lbs), but that might be kind of unruly to hike up a mountain with: gongs-unlimited.com/products/unlimited-mother-tesla-gongs?variant=36540506573

The larger and heavier a metal instrument is, the deeper / lower the frequencies it will generate, so gongs tend to be lower frequencies. We don't have anything that would generate 100,000 Hz. Humans can only hear up to 20,000 Hz. A dog whistle hits about 35,000 Hz.
